The successful candidates will work in a clinical day treatment program for school-aged children (6-15 years of age). Multiple opportunities for intensive client involvement through individual and group counseling, family involvement, treatment planning, and behavior modification are available. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

An excellent opportunity to develop, implement and manage a comprehensive, adult training program for a youth development agency serving adolescent and children in the tri-county area. CYDC provides programs reaching over 600 children and youth locally each year. We care for young people with very serious problems, including physical and sexual abuse, neglect, abandonment, and severe emotional disorders. Of the 600 children we serve, our Big Brothers Big Sisters program provides caring adult role models to 300 local children from single-parent families. The successful candidate must be able to enhance the clinical infrastructure with advanced training of adult learners in the areas of childhood disorders, symptoms and treatment. Previous training or teaching is preferred experience, and a MSW or a Master’s degree in a human services related field is required. Must have a SC driver’s license and good driving record.
